On Tuesday April 19, 2016 the AFSA Virginia Chapter held a Recruitment and Social Mixer at the Marine Corps Museum at Triangle, Virginia.
The National Museum of the Marine Corps is a lasting tribute to U.S. Marines--past, present, and future. Situated on a 135-acre site adjacent to Marine Corps Base Quantico, VA, and under the command of Marine Corps University, the Museum's soaring design evokes the image of the flag-raisers of Iwo Jima and beckons visitors to this 120,000-square-foot structure. World-class interactive exhibits using the most innovative technology surround visitors with irreplaceable artifacts and immerse them in the sights and sounds of Marines in action.
During the AFSA Virginia Chapter NFPA #13 Seminar the entire staff of the Virginia State Fire Marshals Office were re-sworn in. Here is a group photo taken at that swearing in ceremony.
At the February 9, 2016 AFSA Meeting the Virginia Chapter awarded Mike Meehan a plaque thanking him for his service to the Virginia Chapter, serving the last six years as President and a Director.
Mike Meehan has diligently supported AFSA, the Sprinkler Industry and the AFSA Virginia Chapter and we wanted to recognize him for this service.
