    1. Hold an information mixer each year to explain AFSA to prospective member
      Mixer—April 19, 2016 at Quantico Marine Museum
  3. Trade Show
    1. We hold a Trade Show every other year with the next show being in 2017.
  4. Charity work
    1. Burn Survivors Foundation supporting the Central Virginia burn Camp and the Old Dominion Firefighters Burn Foundation
    2. Annual Golf Tournament—22 years—raised $732,400.00
    3. Community projects
  5. Education of Industry
    1. Weekly e-mail communication to all members
    2. Program at each meeting
    3. Vendor presentation at each meeting
  6. Seminars
    1. Hold Annual Full Day Seminars for Training and NICET re-certification points
      March 20, 2016—NFPA #13
    2. Hold Bi-annual free ½ day Seminar for Training and NICET re-certification points
  7. Work with the State Fire Marshalls office on Sprinkler issues
  8. Work with the Virginia Board for Contractors on licensing issues for Sprinkler Contractors  
  9. Work with the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development on Building Code issues
  10. Work with local Fire Departments on Side by Side Burns
  11. Promote the Fire Sprinkler Industry and the expansion of Residential Sprinklers
  12. Assist our Sprinkler Contractor issues in using National AFSA services and on local issue they may have on various Industry issues
